A global investment organisation is seeking an AI Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions that deliver real business impact. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise in machine learning and generative AI with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and influence strategy.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities and take solutions from prototype to production in areas such as enterprise search, process automation, client servicing, and investment analytics.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of enterprise-grade AI systems from concept through deployment and monitoring.
- Architect solutions using LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks, integrating them with enterprise platforms and analytics pipelines.
- Manage cross-functional delivery teams, mentor engineers, and ensure best practices are applied.
- Translate complex AI concepts into clear, actionable strategies for business leaders.
- Ensure ethical AI implementation, with fairness, transparency, and privacy at the core.
What you’ll bring:
- 6+ years’ experience in AI, ML engineering, or advanced technology delivery.
- Hands-on expertise with Python, Node.js and/or React, plus tools such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, and OpenAI APIs.
- Experience deploying scalable AI systems and integrating them into enterprise workflows.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills.
- Financial services or other regulated industry experience preferred.
