Application Support Engineer – Systematic Trading Firm
Harrington Starr is delighted to partner with a leading systematic trading firm that is seeking a talented Application Support Engineer to join their growing L2/L3 support team. This role offers the chance to work closely with multiple teams, including Portfolio Managers, Research Technology, and Execution Services, in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for quantitative trading systems and real-time analytics.
- Develop and enhance monitoring tools and processes.
- Contribute to new feature development in Python and C++.
- Manage system configurations and deployment processes.
- Assist with onboarding and integration of new technologies.
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience in support and/or software engineering.
- Experience with trading system support (low-latency environments a strong plus).
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, and SQL.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and production deployment.
- Cloud experience is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
