Financial Services
* Contract £400–£500 per day - Inside IR35
* London – Hybrid working (2–3 days onsite per week)
* 6-month initial contract (extensions expected)
You’ll be joining a growing Security and IT function, taking ownership of identity and access management across the business. This role is all about building structure, consistency, and control — centralising access requests, entitlement changes, reviews, and audits to strengthen the firm’s security posture.
It’s an opportunity to shape how IAM operates day-to-day: creating robust, repeatable processes, tightening technical controls, and ensuring the business can pass audits without the last-minute scramble.
What you’ll be doing in the job:
- Owning and managing all user access requests and entitlement changes across business systems
- Conducting and documenting periodic user access reviews to ensure compliance and least-privilege principles
- Implementing consistent IAM controls across applications, integrating with single sign-on where possible
- Delivering staff training and inductions on IAM best practice and security awareness
- Maintaining and improving IAM processes and documentation — embedding standard workflows and alignment with the Head Office IAM team
What experience you need to be successful:
- Proven experience in Identity & Access Management within a financial services or regulated environment
- Hands-on knowledge of access control processes, user provisioning, entitlement management, and SSO integration
- Understanding of audit and compliance requirements around access management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to create repeatable, well-documented processes
- Confident communicator able to engage both technical teams and non-technical staff on IAM best practices
You’ll be the person who brings control, clarity, and consistency to identity and access management — freeing up the security team to focus on higher-value technical work.
