The Role
You’ll join a cross-functional engineering team focused on building high-performance back-end systems that power real-time messaging, voice, and data analytics. You’ll design, develop, and maintain scalable Java microservices, collaborating closely with multi-disciplined teams around the globe.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java-based back-end services.
- Building cloud-native applications using Spring Boot and modern frameworks.
- Collaborating with product, QA, and front-end engineers to deliver new features.
- Debugging, optimising, and improving system performance and reliability.
- Contributing to code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of Agile software development.
- A right to work in the UK indefinitely without sponsorship or expiry.
- Up to £70,000 basic depending on experience.
