A fast-growing, regulated trading venue is looking for a senior Business Development and Account Management Executive to drive commercial growth across its European equities platform.

This is a senior sales and account management opportunity within a well-established yet agile firm operating multiple market segments across Europe.

The Role
You’ll focus on building strong relationships with trading participants – banks, brokers, liquidity providers and vendors – to increase adoption and usage of the firm’s pan-European equities platform. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across Product, Quant Research, and Market Structure to ensure client feedback informs strategic direction and product evolution.

The role combines relationship management, strategic cross-selling, and commercial performance analysis, with the ultimate aim of delivering better outcomes for trading participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deepen relationships with current and prospective members to drive usage and satisfaction
  • Promote a broad range of order books, functionality and trading services to maximise client value
  • Use data to assess engagement and identify opportunities for expansion
  • Represent the business at industry events and forums
  • Partner with internal teams to shape product innovation based on real-world feedback
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy

About You
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a sales, business development or client-facing role within capital markets
  • Strong understanding of European equity trading, market structure, and electronic trading workflows
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills and commercial instincts
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable with data and performance metrics
  • Experience working with trading desks, platforms, or market participants
  • Familiar with Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools; experience with data tools like Tableau a plus
