Application Support - FIX Protocol
Harrington Starr have partnered with a leading European dealer broker who have an exciting new opportunity for a new Application Support Engineer to join the company. They are looking for a support professional with good business and technical knowledge to immerse themselves into a new role.
This position will be providing support out of the London office to members of my clients growing number of buy-side member sites in London and across Europe. As an Application Support Engineer you will need to have really good communication skills as well of the technical skills.
With this company you will be able to work with a multitude of cross-platform market leading technologies to support the trading platform of my client.
The role will require an individual with the following:
- FIX protocol exposure is essential.
- OMS/EMS system experience
- SQL writing experience.
- Good understanding of trade lifecycle. (Preferably Equities knowledge and experience).
- Exposure to UNIX/LINUX environment.
- Experience with 1st/2nd line support.
- Knowledge of a buy/sell side order management system.
