Cloud Engineer - Hedge Fund 

A leading multi-strategy hedge fund headquartered in London is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment with cutting-edge technology and exceptional talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and support solutions in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure management.
  • Design and support scalable and highly available production systems.
  • Manage networking tasks, including TCP/IP, firewalls, and routing tables.
  • Oversee identity and access management.
  • Implement computer and cyber security practices.
  • Perform and automate basic system administration tasks with shell scripting.
  • Write and maintain scripts in various programming languages.
  • (Nice to have) Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of scalable and highly available system design.
  • Knowledge of networking principles.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management.
  • Basic understanding of computer and cyber security.
  • Shell scripting skills.
  • Fluency in scripting and programming languages.
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
