Lead Software Engineer – Node / TypeScript / Google Cloud / Crypto

A high-growth crypto-fintech providing 24/7 business banking and payments across fiat and digital assets. You’ll join a rapidly scaling engineering team that’s building cloud-native micro-services in Google Cloud to keep money—and crypto—moving for institutional clients worldwide.

What you will do
-
Design, build, test and deploy Node.js (TypeScript/NestJS) micro-services in Kubernetes (GCP)
-
Embed crypto rails (BTC, ETH, stablecoins) alongside multi-currency fiat services
-
Own the full SDLC with automated unit, integration and system tests in GitLab CI/CD
-
Collaborate with product and UX to turn complex fintech workflows into elegant, scalable features
-
Optimise SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) data models for high-throughput payments
-
Contribute to front-end Angular components where needed
What you will need
-
10 + years’ professional software-engineering experience (fintech/payments a plus)

Production expertise with Node.js, TypeScript and distributed micro-service architectures

Strong SQL skills and a solid grasp of MySQL or PostgreSQL internals

Familiarity with Google Cloud (or AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
-
Competence in one additional language such as Go, C#, C++ or Java
-
Working knowledge of Angular or similar front-end frameworks
-
Passion for crypto, Web3 or blockchain technology
