Position: Network Engineer
Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 + benefits + bonus (20-50%)
Hybrid: In office 3 days a week

Role Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain a secure, high-performance global network.
- Provide fast, effective support to minimize downtime.
- Lead network projects, delivering scalable solutions with key stakeholders.
- Enforce security and compliance with industry regulations.
- Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
- Manage vendors and procurement of network hardware.
- Monitor network health and report to stakeholders.
- Collaborate across teams to support trading, data, and enterprise platforms.
- Follow risk and compliance frameworks, escalating issues as needed.
- Support flexible hours, including occasional weekends (with overtime pay).
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, ideally in regulated or financial environments
- Strong knowledge of WAN/LAN technologies, BGP/OSPF, VPNs, SD-WAN, and network security best practices
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure), firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco), and NAC solutions
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and deliver scalable, secure infrastructure
- Industry certifications (e.g. CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSE) are a strong advantage
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
