Senior Software Test Engineer – Remote – £55,000 – Payments Technology
Harrington Starr is working with a global leader in payment solutions, who are looking for a Software Test Engineer II to join their high-performing QA team.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced Test Engineer with a strong automation background and a deep understanding of enterprise systems. You'll be working closely with cross-functional tech teams to deliver high-quality, reliable software in a fast-paced Agile environment.
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years experience in software testing, ideally within fintech or large-scale systems.
- Proven experience with test automation frameworks like SpecFlow, Playwright, K6, or Robot Framework.
- Strong skills in testing APIs, Web Services, and Web UIs.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or TeamCity.
- Good scripting or coding knowledge (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Solid grasp of BDD/TDD, regression testing, and Agile test practices.
