Test Engineering Manager – Remote – £75,000 – Payments Technology
Harrington Starr has partnered with a global payments provider that’s now hiring a Test Engineering Manager to lead and grow their high-impact QA team.
This is a hands-on and managerial role for someone who’s passionate about automation, modern test strategy, and building high-performing teams.
You’ll work alongside Engineering Leadership to shape the technical direction of test engineering across the organization.
What you’ll need:
- 7+ years in software testing, with 1+ years in a lead or management role
- Strong test automation experience using SpecFlow, Playwright.
- Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps, TeamCity, or Ansible
- Solid understanding of building test strategy for complex, distributed, cloud and hybrid systems
- Ability to coach and scale test engineering talent while staying close to the tech
- Experience managing TE across multiple teams and concurrent projects
- Deep knowledge of Agile/Lean principles and continuous delivery environments
This role is a fully remote position with quarterly get togethers with the team.
